Virtual Math Night Trailer   Message From Ms Felder

JME Escape Room was a HUGE Success!

In lieu of a traditional in-person math night, the School Improvement Council at JME hosted a Math Virtual Escape Room. This was an online event that families could enjoy and complete together. The event was open for one calendar week to allow families to choose a day and time that best fit their busy schedules.

Over 500 students entered our JME Escape Room in search of our Monarch Butterfly. They had fun using online resources (geo-boards, number lines, virtual clocks, virtual pattern blocks, virtual fraction tools, and virtual money) to solve math clues that lead them throughout the building. GOOD NEWS - our Monarch Butterfly was found!

All participants were entered into daily drawings, and 45 "treasure box" prizes were awarded throughout the week. Pizza parties were earned by our top participating classes: Bavosa (1st grade), Goodfellow (2nd grade), and Price (4th grade). All participants received a mini rubik's cube.

If you missed the Escape Room, the prize event is over, however, you can still access the room using the links below:

A HUGE thank you to Megan Rzyski, Jaime Punjabi, Emily Huth, Tracie Osgood and all of SIC for organizing this FANTASTIC event! Thanks also to Ms Sprague, Ms Pinto, Ms Price, Ms Felder and Ms Heath for their support.
