WALK TO SCHOOL DAY
May 6th
The SIC is sponsoring our annual Walk to School event. We will meet in the parking lot behind the former Eleven 81 restaurant in Oakland Market at 6:30am and walk to JME! The walk will begin promptly at 6:45am. All JME Students and Parents are invited! The JME classroom with the most participants will win the Golden Shoe Award!
Our Walk to School Event is in accordance with SCDOT's Safe Routes to School. SCDOT's Safe Routes to School Program assists schools and communities in the planning, development, and implementation of projects and activities that will improve safety and reduce traffic, fuel consumption, and air pollution in the vicinity of schools while promoting a healthy lifestyle for children and their parents

Help give our teachers a break during lunch - even one shift makes a difference!
Volunteers will help supervise students during lunch so our teachers can fully enjoy their appreciation lunch.

Remember to sign your child's Big 3 Trackers (located on the back side of student's green Wednesday folders). Be sue to add your child's name, teacher, and grade level to the top of the tracker. Big 3 Trackers will be collected for the semester on Thursday April 30th, so make sure you are filling them out before then! Bag Tags for each of the Big 3 categories (Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible) will be awarded in May. 5TH GRADE GRADUATION SIGNS
