COMMUNITY OUTREACH BOOK DRIVE

March 3rd - 7th

During Read Across America Week, PTA's Community Outreach will be collecting gently used books, in good condition. They will be donated to FRIENDS of the Library, a nonprofit fundraising organization that supports Charleston County Public Library branches. Their mission is to build the path to learning and literacy for all of our neighbors. 

Please drop off donations in the bin located in the lobby and thanks for helping us make a positive impact in our community!

NOTE: Participating in the book drive qualifies for one of the Be Respectful items on the Big 3 Tracker located on the back of students' green Wednesday folder!

ANNUAL JME VIRTUAL ADVENTURE

March 2nd - March 9th

JME's Annual Virtual Adventure is back! Sponsored by JME's SIC

Starting Monday March 2nd, travel virtually around the world to help our beloved JME Monarch find their missing brag tag! 

This online family activity can be done any time between March 2nd and Monday March 9th. All students who complete the online adventure will earn a participation prize and be entered to win a treasure box raffle prize. Click the links below to get started!

FAMILY FITNESS FAIR

JME Playground

Save the Date! Join us for JME's Family Fitness Fair. This is a free festival for JME Families! There will be health experts and community vendors, obstacle course, bounce houses, music, face painting, raffles, prizes & more!

GIRLS ON THE RUN

March 9th,  Monday and Wednesdays after school until 4PM
4 - 5th grade girls

Girls On The Run starts this Spring! It is an 8-week program for girls grades 4 - 5th starting March 9th. It will be Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 4PM. We are only able to take 20 girls, so if you are interested, please apply here! The names will be chosen by a computer lottery. You will be notified if your girl's name is drawn. Good luck!
