Attendance Policy

 

Students are encouraged to attend school every day and to be on time.  Students are required to bring a handwritten or doctor's note for every absence from school.  The notes must state the date(s), the reason for the absence, the student's first and last name, the name of the homeroom teacher, and the note must be signed by a parent/guardian.  Notes are to be turned in to the office.  Emails are not accepted.  

 

A student must be in class until 11:00 AM in order to receive credit for attendance.  If the student arrives at school by 10:30 AM and remains for the remainder of the day, the student will receive credit for attendance for the day.
